Jennie L. Johnson, MEd, is an experienced teacher and educational consultant who has filled a myriad of roles. She has worked as a curriculum and technology coordinator; a curriculum, assessment and data specialist and F–12 English department chair; a secondary school English teacher; and a national consultant in assessment and data analysis.
Jennie has also led groups of F–12 teachers and administrators in creating an assessment system that included performance assessment and standards-based reporting instruments. In addition, she has assisted teachers in revising their consensus maps aligned to curriculum standards.
Jennie has presented at conferences, co-authored a chapter in Getting Results With Curriculum Mapping, and was featured in the Video Journal of Education’s series, Integrating Literacy Instruction Across the Curriculum. In conjunction with the Pulitzer Center, she has developed consensus unit maps that teachers can access from the Pulitzer website.
