Pam Robbins is an independent educational consultant who serves school districts, educational service centers, professional associations, state departments of education, leadership academies, universities, and corporations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Great Britain, the Far East, and South America. Pam’s professional interests include leadership, supervision and evaluation, the leadership practices of Abraham Lincoln, developing learning communities, brain research and effective teaching, instructional strategies for the block schedule, peer coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills.


Pam began her teaching career in special education. Later, she taught in the intermediate grades and coached high school basketball. As an administrator, she served as Director of Special Projects and Research for the Napa (CA) County Office of Education, and Director of Training for the North Bay California School Leadership Academy. Pam also provides national and international professional learning sessions for the Department of Defense Education Equity Division, the Ministry of Education in Singapore, Ford Motor Company, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Learning Forward, Phi Delta Kappa (PDK), the National Association of Elementary Principals (NAESP), National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), and the National School Boards Association.


Pam earned her doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley. Her doctoral studies focused on the leadership and development of learning communities. She was awarded the Best Dissertation Award by the National Staff Development Council.
